NOC hikes fuel prices, cooking gas up by Rs 215

File: Cooking gas (LPG) cylinders Kathmandu, October 1 Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has increased the price of petroleum products on the eve of the festive season. The price of cooking gas, petrol, diesel and kerosene has increased. A meeting of NOC has decided to increase the price of petrol by Rs 2 per litre and diesel and kerosene by Rs 6 per litre. The price of cooking gas has been raised significantly by NOC, with an increase of Rs 215. Following this adjustment, the cost of cooking gas has climbed to Rs 2,110. Petrol is priced at Rs 182.5, Rs 184 and Rs 185 in Category A, B and C respectively. Likewise, the cost of diesel has stayed steady at Rs 176.5 per litre in Category A, Rs 178 per litre in Category B, and Rs 179 per litre in Category C. Anmol KC Kathmandu, September 20 Anmol KC has been arrested by Kathmandu Police for criminal breach of trust. He was arrested on Friday after a complaint from the producers of Rawayan. KC, however, has been admitted to Norvic Hospital. He was admitted after he complained of chest pain, said Saroj Neupane. Prior to that, KC reportedly told Neupane he would not be a part of a bad film and was happy to stay in jail. KC was arrested for a breach of trust after he refused to be part of the film despite taking a Rs 1 million advance. KC will be presented in court on Sunday. Asian Games 2023: PUB-G team reaches the semi-final

Hangzhou, September 29 Nepal has reached the semi-final of PUB-G in the ongoing 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou in China. During the elimination round (quarterfinal) at the China Hangzhou eSports Center on Friday, Nepal secured their spot in the semi-finals by clinching second place in their group. This competition features a unique format compared to standard gaming events, as four teams will compete in two groups during the semi-finals. The Nepali team, comprised of Subin Kumar Prajapati, Dipesh Gurung, Sahas Bhandari, Samir Gurung, and Sangin Bhattarai, secured second place in Group C with a time of 54 minutes and 4.842 seconds on Friday. The deceased has been identified as Jaya Prakash Yadav, a resident of Ramgram municipality-7. According to District Police Office spokesperson DSP Resham Bohara, the incident occurred at 6 am while the Yadav was switching off a street lamp at Ujaini. Yadav was rushed to Prithvi Chandra Hospital where the doctors doctors pronounced him dead. Eyewitnesses at the scene reported that WIFI and other wires had fallen onto the street. CAAN takes action against 2 helicopter companies for flying in poor weather

The authority has specifically banned Shree Airlines and Fishtail Air from flying, informed sources. This action was taken after one of these companies flew a helicopter in breach of the Visual Flight Rules (VFR) when visibility was less than 100 meters. As a result, the authority has decided to ground the two companies’ helicopters until further notice. The authority has specifically grounded AS350 B3E model helicopters.
