Photo: Yuwalaya Kathmandu, May 9 The two-day Karnali policy dialogue and youth festival ended in Birendranagar in Surkhet on Monday, with the commitments to establishing a provincial youth council and issuing a provincial youth policy. Ending the event attended by over 100 young people representing all the 10 districts of the Karnali province and provincial stakeholders including government officials, the participants issued a 20-point declaration. The declaration was handed over to the provincial Social Development Minister Tek Raj Pachhai for implementation. Yuwalaya , a youth-led NGO that is organising the event, says the second day of the event featured panel discussions on safe migration, sexual and reproductive health rights, sexuality and gender-based violence and menstrual hygiene management.
