Photo: Aryan Dhimal Kathmandu, January 12 The Patan High Court has released rape-accused cricket star Sandeep Lamichhane on Rs 2 million bail. A division bench of Dhruva Raj Nanda and Ramesh Dhakal heard Lamichhane’s appeal for release and decided to let him fight the legal battle staying out of jail. Previously, the Kathmandu District Court had se nt him to judicial custody until the final verdict. Dissatisfied with the decision, the former captain of the national cricket team filed an appeal at the high court, seeking revision.
