Drowning kills 2 in Banke, 1 in Nawalparasi
Representational image Kathmandu, June 13 Two people died after drowning in Man Khola in Khajura rural municipality of Banke on Monday. Police Inspector Sujan Bikram Shah of the District Police Office, Banke, said Lakshmi Dangi, 17, and Kiran Nepali, 7, of the municipality drowned in the river. Similarly, Krishna Subedi, 30, died while swimming in the Arun Khola in Nawalparasi on Monday. With the rising temperatures, drowning cases are on the rise in the southern belt of the country.
