Surkhet, February 14

A man has allegedly murdered his wife by beating, inform the police.

Krishna Bahadur Khadka (28), a resident of Garcha, Gurans rural municipality-8 of the Dailekh district, fatally beat his wife Parbati BC (27), informs DSP Kishor Lamsal, the chief of the District Police Office.

The murder took place at 10:30 pm last night following a family dispute, according to Lamsal.

Neighbours say the couple, married just three months back, were not on good terms for the past few days.

The husband has hearing disabilities whereas the wife had some physical disabilities.

Further investigation is underway.

The body has been sent to the Dailekh District Hospital for postmortem.

The auto expo, which started on Monday, has a wide range of electric vehicles with around 60 per cent of its stall being taken up by EVs.
