Dhanusha: 2 killed in tractor-motorbike collision

Janalpurdham, March 5

Two persons died in a tractor-motorbike collision in the Dhanusha district of southeastern Nepal on Saturday.

DSP Bed Prasad Gautam, the District Police Office spokesperson, says the tractor (Ja 1 Ta 5245) and the motorbike (Ja 10 Pa 6249) collided head-on in Laxminiya along the Janakpur-Dhalkebar road.

The victims have been identified as Ram Ekwal Thakur (45), a resident of Laxminiya rural municipality -4, and Satto Sah (40) of the same place.

Seriously injured in the accident, both were rushed to the Janakpur Provincial Hospital, but the doctors declared them upon arrival.

Thakur was riding on the motorbike and Sah was the pillion.

The police say a further investigation is underway

EVs steal the show at NADA Auto Show 2023
