Dhangadhi, April 7

One person died in a tractor accident in the Kailali district of Sudurpaschim on Thursday evening.

The victim has been identified as Dan Bahadur Sinjali (38), a resident of Chure rural municipality-3 of the district, who was driving the vehicle (Sudurpaschim province-01-002 Ta 5269).

The accident along the Bayala-Dugreni dirt road in Chure-6 killed him on the spot as he was crushed by the vehicle’s tailboard, informs the Provincial Traffic Police Office in Attariya.

The auto expo, which started on Monday, has a wide range of electric vehicles with around 60 per cent of its stall being taken up by EVs. Brands including BYD , MG , Neta and Wuling have only exhibited electric vehicles. Some importers have given preference to electric vehicles over the company’s petrol/diesel vehicles.
