Gas tanker fall kills 1 in Chitwan

Chitwan, April 3

One man died in a gas tanker fall in Chitwan of southern Nepal on Monday morning.

The Indian tanker (UP 70 DT 6055) skidded off the road at Lewatar, Ichhakamana rural municipality-4 of the district along the Prithvi Highway at around 6 am, according to the police.

The victim is yet to be identified.

Meanwhile, two other persons have been injured in the accident. One of them has been identified as Ram Watan Tati (29), an Indian citizen. He is undergoing treatment at a local health facility.

The yet-to-be-identified injured is critical and has been taken to the Purano Medical College, informs DSP Bijaya Raj Pandit, the District Police Office spokesperson.
