Rukum East: 7 arrested on the charge of killing 2 minor girls

Rukum East, April 9

Police in the Rukum East district of Lumbini have arrested seven persons on the charge of killing two minor girls.

The law enforcers say they were arrested in connection with the mysterious death of two minor girls, whose bodies were found in Ranma, Putha Uttarganga rural municipality-3 of the district last week.

Police suspect that the siblings of Rina Budha Magar (11) and Kalimaya Budhamagar (9) might have been murdered by the gang.

DSP Anjana Shrestha says the murderers robbed the children of their jewellery before the murder.

The names of the arrestees have not been revealed yet.

EVs steal the show at NADA Auto Show 2023

The auto expo, which started on Monday, has a wide range of electric vehicles with around 60 per cent of its stall being taken up by EVs.
