Girl hacked to death in Khandbari

Kimathanka, May 26

A 21-year-old girl has been hacked to death in Ghimiregaun in Khandbari municipality-1, Sankhuwasabha on Thursday.

Yuna Darnal of Sabhapokhari rural municipality-1 was murdered by Nandaram Gadal, 23, of Sabhapokhari rural municipality, DSP Birendra Godar said.

Police said that Gadal attempted to die by suicide after murdering Darnal.

Gadal is currently receiving treatment at Khandbari District Hospital.

Darnal and Gadal shared the room on Thursday, said Godar.

The reason behind the murder is unknown.

PM Dahal inducts 3 Nepali Congress leaders as ministers

As per a notice issued by the President’s Office, Dhana Raj Gurung, Mohan Bahadur Basnet and Dig Bahadur Limbu have been appointed to lead the Ministry of Law, the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Youth respectively. The expansion on Wednesday still leaves the Council of Ministers incomplete as Dahal still leads the Ministry of Water Supply and the Ministry of Environment. The three will take the oath of office and secrecy on Thursday.
