Man shot dead in Rautahat

Rautahat, May 26

A 70-year-old man was shot dead in Rautahat.

The deceased has been identified as Sheikh Taib of Karuniya, Dewahi Gonahi municipality.

Taib’s body was found a kilometre from his house in the morning. He was at his house until midnight.

Rautahat district police office said he was shot in the head.

Investigations are ongoing said Rautahat Police.

Recently, murder cases have increased in Rautahat.

EVs steal the show at NADA Auto Show 2023

The auto expo, which started on Monday, has a wide range of electric vehicles with around 60 per cent of its stall being taken up by EVs. Brands including BYD , MG , Neta and Wuling have only exhibited electric vehicles. Some importers have given preference to electric vehicles over the company’s petrol/diesel vehicles. Tata , Hyundai , Kia , Great Wall Motors , Nissan and other brands have put both petroleum and electric vehicles on display.
