Rolpa, May 12

A labourer died in a tractor accident at Machheti village in Lungri rural municipality-5 in the Rolpa district on Thursday evening.

Thirteen-year-old Khemraj Roka died and seven others were injured when the tractor (Ra 1 Ta 3881) fell off the road, DSP Shyam Saru Magar at the District Police Office says.

The police say that the tractor was heading to the Kilachaur area by taking the labourers for their night stay after their work for the road construction at Domai of Lungri rural municipality.

The injured ones are receiving treatment at a primary health post at Sulichaur in the district, according to the police.

EVs steal the show at NADA Auto Show 2023

The auto expo, which started on Monday, has a wide range of electric vehicles with around 60 per cent of its stall being taken up by EVs.
