Jumla, June 27

A teenager died in Jumla after being electrocuted.

The deceased has been identified as Pramila Pariyar, 17, of Kankasundari rural municipality.

She was electrocuted when an electric wire fell into the field where she was planting paddy.

The wire fell as a result of a gust.

Four others were reported injured and are currently being treated at the Karnali Academy of Health Sciences.

EVs steal the show at NADA Auto Show 2023

The auto expo, which started on Monday, has a wide range of electric vehicles with around 60 per cent of its stall being taken up by EVs. Brands including BYD , MG , Neta and Wuling have only exhibited electric vehicles. Some importers have given preference to electric vehicles over the company’s petrol/diesel vehicles. Tata , Hyundai , Kia , Great Wall Motors , Nissan and other brands have put both petroleum and electric vehicles on display.
