Tipper hit kills elderly in Morang

Biratnagar, June 22

A tipper hit killed an elderly in Rangeli in Morang on Wednesday.

The deceased has been identified as 70-year-old Munsi Rajbanshi from Rangeli municipality.

The tipper (Na 1 Ka 7218) hit Rajbanshi near Farsadangi.

Critically injured, Rajbanshi was rushed to Nobel Medical Hospital where he breathed his last.

The tipper driver has been arrested.

EVs steal the show at NADA Auto Show 2023

The auto expo, which started on Monday, has a wide range of electric vehicles with around 60 per cent of its stall being taken up by EVs. Brands including BYD , MG , Neta and Wuling have only exhibited electric vehicles. Some importers have given preference to electric vehicles over the company’s petrol/diesel vehicles. Tata , Hyundai , Kia , Great Wall Motors , Nissan and other brands have put both petroleum and electric vehicles on display.
