2 dead due to electric shock after a live wire touches a bus in Salyan

Butwal, July 6

Two people died in an electric shock incident in Salyan after a live wire touched a bus in Salyan on Thursday.

According to DSP Gopal Shrestha, the spokesperson of the District Police Office in Salyan, Balram Dangi and his son Toplal Dangi from Gangadeb rural municipality-4 died due to electrocution.

The incident took place in Kapurkot on the Rapti Highway when an electric wire touched the bus ( Ra 1 Kha 834).

As the electric current spread across the bus, the two died on the spot, said police.

The bus owner Mahendra Wali has been critically injured in the incident. He has been taken to Dang for treatment.

EVs steal the show at NADA Auto Show 2023
