Kathmandu, July 3

Nepal Police arrested two more people for their involvement in the Lalita Niwas land case.

The Central Investigation Bureau (CIB), on Monday, Ramesh Kumar Pokharel and Dev Narayan Maharjan.

The CIB arrested three people on Sunday.

As of July 3, nine people are currently in custody for their involvement in the case.

The CIB is currently conducting an investigation into allegations of acquiring and forging government documents for the unlawful transfer of government land.

EVs steal the show at NADA Auto Show 2023

The auto expo, which started on Monday, has a wide range of electric vehicles with around 60 per cent of its stall being taken up by EVs. Brands including BYD , MG , Neta and Wuling have only exhibited electric vehicles. Some importers have given preference to electric vehicles over the company’s petrol/diesel vehicles. Tata , Hyundai , Kia , Great Wall Motors , Nissan and other brands have put both petroleum and electric vehicles on display.
