Palpa, August 28

One person died in a motorbike accident in Palpa on Sunday night.

The bike (Lu 42 Pa 6709) travelling on the Tansen-Tamghas road section hit a wall on Sunday night, said police.

The deceased has been identified as Naresh Gharti, 30, of Kalimati rural municipality in Salyan. He was rushed to the hospital for treatment but breathed his last at United Mission Hospital in Tansen.

The pillion rider, Prakash Tharu, was injured in the accident.

PM Dahal inducts 3 Nepali Congress leaders as ministers

As per a notice issued by the President’s Office, Dhana Raj Gurung, Mohan Bahadur Basnet and Dig Bahadur Limbu have been appointed to lead the Ministry of Law, the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Youth respectively. The expansion on Wednesday still leaves the Council of Ministers incomplete as Dahal still leads the Ministry of Water Supply and the Ministry of Environment. The three will take the oath of office and secrecy on Thursday.
