Chitwan, August 17

A 22-year-old man tried to die by suicide by cutting off his penis.

The man, from Makwanpurgadhi rural municipality, is currently being treated at Chitwan Medical College and is out of danger, said Dr Dayaram Lamsal.

Lamsal said the part of the penis, which he had cut off, has been removed.

“We are trying to operate and save the remaining part of the penis,” said Lamsal.

The man had cut off his penis at a lodge near the Hetauda bus station on Wednesday night and went to the Hetauda Hospital on his own. He was then referred to Chitwan Medical College.

EVs steal the show at NADA Auto Show 2023

The auto expo, which started on Monday, has a wide range of electric vehicles with around 60 per cent of its stall being taken up by EVs.
