Domestic flights affected by adverse weather conditions

Kathmandu, August 8

All flights to Pokhara airport has been affected on Tuesday due to adverse weather conditions.

Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) authorities have stated that heavy rainfall has prevented any flights from departing to Pokhara. Therefore, a large number of passengers find themselves stranded at Pokhara Regional International Airport.

Flights have also not flown from Bharatpur airport due to poor weather.

Flights at Janakpur airport were affected in the morning, but they have now resumed their regular schedule.

International flights have not been affected.

EVs steal the show at NADA Auto Show 2023

The auto expo, which started on Monday, has a wide range of electric vehicles with around 60 per cent of its stall being taken up by EVs. Brands including BYD , MG , Neta and Wuling have only exhibited electric vehicles. Some importers have given preference to electric vehicles over the company’s petrol/diesel vehicles. Tata , Hyundai , Kia , Great Wall Motors , Nissan and other brands have put both petroleum and electric vehicles on display.
