Two persons were killed while four others were injured in an SUV accident that took place near Panchkilo of Sunkoshi rural municipality on Saturday night.

The accident took place when a jeep (Ba 15 Cha 9370) heading from Dolakha to Kathmandu fell some 300 metres off the road.

According to the Sindhupalchok District Police Office, the jeep driver Uttam Raj Maharjan and Bal Bahadur Khatri of Bahrbise, Sindhupalchok were among those who died.

Others were rescued by locals and rushed to hospitals where they are undergoing treatment.

The auto expo, which started on Monday, has a wide range of electric vehicles with around 60 per cent of its stall being taken up by EVs.
