Nepali ambassadors to various four countries have taken oaths of office and secrecy before President Ram Chandra Paudel on Wednesday.

Sudheer Bhattarai, Tej Bahadur Chhetri, Ghanashyam Lamsal and Ram Prasad Subedi, who have been appointed ambassadors to France, UAE, Kuwait and Switzerland respectively, took an oath of office and secrecy at a special ceremony held at the Office of the President.

Present on the occasion were high officials of the Government of Nepal, including Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Dhanraj Gurung, states a press note issued by Shailaja Regmi Bhattarai, Spokesperson for the Office of the President.

EVs steal the show at NADA Auto Show 2023

The auto expo, which started on Monday, has a wide range of electric vehicles with around 60 per cent of its stall being taken up by EVs. Brands including BYD , MG , Neta and Wuling have only exhibited electric vehicles. Some importers have given preference to electric vehicles over the company’s petrol/diesel vehicles. Tata , Hyundai , Kia , Great Wall Motors , Nissan and other brands have put both petroleum and electric vehicles on display. Brands like Toyota , Mitsubishi , Renault , Jeep , Honda , Volkswagen , Skoda , Isuzu , Subaru , Peugeot , Mazda , and BMW , which are selling only petrol and diesel vehicles, have not participated in this year’s NADA Auto Show 2023.
