Janakpurdham, September 4

A young woman has been found dead under mysterious circumstances in Janakpur.

The deceased has been identified as 18-year-old Saraswati Yadav of Janakpurdham sub-metropolis.

Dhanusha police spokesperson DSP Bed Prasad Gautam said the girl’s body has been taken under custody. The Yadav’s mother told the police her daughter collapsed and died on her way to get water from the nearby well.

The locals, however, say Yadav’s death is mysterious. The police confiscated the body after receiving the information about the family trying to cover up the incident. According to a neighbour, Saraswati Yadav died at her home.

Police have taken the body for postmortem. Investigations are ongoing.

PM Dahal inducts 3 Nepali Congress leaders as ministers

As per a notice issued by the President’s Office, Dhana Raj Gurung, Mohan Bahadur Basnet and Dig Bahadur Limbu have been appointed to lead the Ministry of Law, the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Youth respectively. The expansion on Wednesday still leaves the Council of Ministers incomplete as Dahal still leads the Ministry of Water Supply and the Ministry of Environment.
