Dang, October 12

A bus hit has killed a man in Dang on Thursday.

The deceased has been identified as 24-year-old Bijaya Khanal of Banganga municipality.

The bus (Na 7 Kha 5971), which was going from Kathmandu to Surkhet, hit Khanal while he was crossing the road on Thursday morning.

Inspector Ujwal Singh informed that Khanal, who was seriously injured, died while being treated at Bhalubang Hospital.

The police have detained both the bus and the driver.

EVs steal the show at NADA Auto Show 2023

The auto expo, which started on Monday, has a wide range of electric vehicles with around 60 per cent of its stall being taken up by EVs. Brands including BYD , MG , Neta and Wuling have only exhibited electric vehicles. Some importers have given preference to electric vehicles over the company’s petrol/diesel vehicles. Tata , Hyundai , Kia , Great Wall Motors , Nissan and other brands have put both petroleum and electric vehicles on display.
