Rabindra Dhant to take on Ismail Khan in the One Championship

Kathmandu, October 29

Nepali MMA fighter Rabindra Dhant is set to compete in his second fight in the ONE Championship.

The fighter, via Instagram, announced that he will be taking on Pakistan’s 26-year-old fighter Ismail Khan at the Lumpinee Stadium on December 15.

Both fighters were part of ONE Friday Fights 33 where Dhant beat Russian Torepchi Dongak while Khan beat South Korean Cho Joon Gun.

Before the fight, Dhant will undergo training at The Combat Academy (TCA) in Nagaland. Both fighters have a similar record of 6-0.

Govt to classify taxis into 3 categories

File photo The government is set to classify taxis available for domestic services into three categories. According to the draft of the Standards for Vehicles Used as Taxis, 2023 issued by the Departm e nt of Transport Management , the taxis will be classified as ordinary, deluxe and luxury based on their characteristics like size, accommodation capacity and available facilities. The Department has sought public submissions on the draft via its email or Facebook page by June 19. Ordinary taxies should be a minimum of 800 ccs or more. If it is an electric taxi, the minimum power-to-weight ratio should be 0.012. Such taxis should have a sound system for entertainment with speakers fitted in the front and rear. Deluxe taxis should be a minimum of 1,200 cc or more. If it is an electric taxi, the minimum power-to-weight ratio is set at 0.019. 1 murdered in Kathmandu during Indra Jatra celebrations

Image for representation only Kathmandu, October 3 A teenager, observing Indra Jatra , has been murdered on Monday. Police said 17-year-old Shani Karki of Okhaldhunga was stabbed with a sharp object. SP Kumud Dhungel said Karki was stabbed in the chest. “He died during treatment,” said Dhungle. The reason for the attack is unknown but police have arrested two people on suspicion. An investigation is ongoing.
