Bhaktapur, October 12

One person died after being hit by a scooter in Bhaktapur on Thursday.

The deceased has been identified as 68-year-old Bhulimaya Dhaguchhu.

She was hit by the scooter (Ba 69 Pa 910) on Nagarkot Road in Bhaktapur.

Critically injured, she was rushed to Dr Iwamura Memorial Hospital where she breathed her last.

The scooter rider Yam Khadka, 36, has been arrested by the police.

EVs steal the show at NADA Auto Show 2023

The auto expo, which started on Monday, has a wide range of electric vehicles with around 60 per cent of its stall being taken up by EVs. Brands including BYD , MG , Neta and Wuling have only exhibited electric vehicles. Some importers have given preference to electric vehicles over the company’s petrol/diesel vehicles. Tata , Hyundai , Kia , Great Wall Motors , Nissan and other brands have put both petroleum and electric vehicles on display.
