Pokhara, December 26

A car hit killed two pedestrians in Prasyang of Pokhara Metropolitan City-5 on Monday night.

A car going towards Zero KM from Baglung Bus Park hit Dholandra Chhantyal of Nadipur, Pokhara-3 and another unidentified youth, according to the District Police Office.

The two were rushed to Western Regional Hospital where they breathed their last.

The car driver has been absconding, while the vehicle is impounded, the police informed.

EVs steal the show at NADA Auto Show 2023

The auto expo, which started on Monday, has a wide range of electric vehicles with around 60 per cent of its stall being taken up by EVs. Brands including BYD , MG , Neta and Wuling have only exhibited electric vehicles. Some importers have given preference to electric vehicles over the company’s petrol/diesel vehicles. Tata , Hyundai , Kia , Great Wall Motors , Nissan and other brands have put both petroleum and electric vehicles on display.
